Artist Spotlight: Abused Romance

Looking for some positively polished modern rock with an alternative twist?  How about a taste of L.A.-based, Abused Romance.  Channeling the likes of 30 Seconds to Mars, Smile Empty Soul, and Story of the Year, Abused Romance brings a fistful of energy to the world of alt-rock.

Poised to release their full-length debut, Shine in early 2011, AR signed with Freeway Records this year, and will be on tour with Trapt all winter.  Singer Meir Yaniv talked about all the touring they’ve been doing recently, saying, “We just finished touring with Nonpoint and Egypt Central and even though most of the people at the shows didn’t know our music, I think we won over a lot of new fans. We can’t wait for this tour with Trapt and we know it’s gonna be a blast!”

The band’s first single, “Sound of Violence” is the perfect introduction for all you new listeners and can be enjoyed here:
